Yarn Along
It's been a while since I hooked up with Ginny at Small Things for the Yarn Along.
Since I last posted I've had to put Deco to one side as Christopher asked me to knit him a jumper like his sister's. Of course as soon as he put the request in we were off to Baa Ram Ewe for him to choose his yarn. His choice is King Cole Galaxy in the Dark Blue colour way, I'm knitting the same design jumper as I did for Rosie.
On the reading front I've been doing quite well finishing another 3 books after 'Perks of being a Wallflower'. Admittedly one of these 'The Age of Innocence' I have been listening too on the excellent Craftlit podcast since last year. I've also finally read Robert Louis Stevenson's 'The Strange Case of Dr Jeckell and Mr Hyde', this was for the Cornflower Book club and it was interesting to finally read it as the duel personallity trope is so common now. Between 'Perks' and 'Jeckell and Hyde' I needed a pallet cleanser so picked up Janet Evanovich's Hot Six (I know I'm desperately behind with Stephanie Plum) I thoroughly enjoyed it of course!
My current book is 'Rook' by Jane Rushbridge, another recommendation from Cornflower that I came across when browsing in the library. I'm enjoying it so far.
