One Week Old
Rosalin is one week old today, DH and I both commented earlier that we can't imagine life without her now :)
Photo taken the day we came home, trying out the lovely quilt that Joy made for her
A quick recap of the last week:
When we got to the hospital on the Saturday the delivery suite was full so I got sent to the Anti-natal ward to wait for a slot. I eventually got summoned at 3pm on Sunday! Unfortunately they wonldn't let me go home in the meantime :(
They started the induction about 3:30pm on the Sunday and Rosalin was born at 2:15pm on Monday. It was all pretty straight forward until the final hour when they discovered that she was facing the wrong way when checking why second stage labour wasn't progressing as well as they liked. So she had to be delivered by forceps.
We stayed in the hospital until Wednesday afternoon and since then we've just been hanging out at home getting to grips with everything :)
