Woot!
Sorry to have been absent from here for the last week but I decided to sit down and stitch rather than spending a lot of time online. This is the result!
The reason that putting my feet up and stitching when I get the opportunity is so appealing at the moment is that I am now 17 weeks pregnant. I had a scan last week and Alien 2 is developing just as it should. The challenging bit is keeping up with an energetic toddler! The net result is that I am not spending nearly as much time online and I'm way behind in my blog reading so I hope you'll all understand that it also means that I'm not commenting as much as I would like.
I'll leave you with a picture of Rosie showing another reason why I don't get on the computer as much. I'm now having to hot desk at my own laptop!

stitched using the Linen and AVAS silk from the kit.
Started in December 2006 at the Ackworth Seminar and finished yesterday. The sharp eyed among you will notice that I've altered some of the personalisations to my own.stitched using the Linen and AVAS silk from the kit.

Take care!
Congratulations again on the pregnancy! I'm so thrilled for you!
Congratulations, also, on finishing Maria Spence. Are you going to try to do some baby stitching next?
And a new baby on the way - yay! Congratulations again!
And congrats on your pregnancy, that is SUPER news!!
Gorgeous photo of Rosie!
Congrats on that beautiful finish as well. Its amazing how much you can get done when you stay offline LOL
And of course congrats on Alien 2.
I can´t believe how much Rosie has changed, she is a proper little girl now - and a real cutie :)
Look at that cutie patootie Rosie, competing with you for computer time ;)
Many congratulations on your fabulous news. Rosie sure has grown up fast.
I remember well those early motherhood days when I had to share my typewriter with my toddler daughter, lol! It'll be interesting to see what your daughter will be sharing with your future grandchild. :)
Spending time resting and stitching is much better than sitting at the computer. And look what it brought you (apart from Alien 2, which is very funny, by the way): a finish in the stitchy department. Maria Spence is an absolute beauty.
Congratulations on Maria! Woohoo!
And MS is gorgeous, I am sure you are thrilled to be finished.
Also congrats on Maria Spence - such a lovely finish.
Your finished piece is beautiful.
Your little girl is adorable and how exciting for her to have a new brother or sister.
