2008 Achievements

Of course nothing else I've done this year tops this one :)

Photobucket

And onto the stitching I had a much more productive year than I expected to have
. Here are my finishes for 2008:

CA Wells – Pyramid Etui
Dragon Dreams - Dragon Virtues Afghan
Drawn Thread – The Birth Band
Drawn Thread – Holiday Thanks
Drawn Thread – For Thee
Father B - Concord
Just Nan – Barnabee's Bride

Olde Colonial Designs - A Needlework Garden Thread Pallet
Prairie Schooler - Cabin Pinkeep
Valerie Pfeiffer - Humming Along
Sparklies - 2005 Get Together Sampler
The Workbasket - Quaker Tree
The Workbasket - A Critters Christmas
Threads Through Time - Christmas Carnations

The Stats are:
WIPs at start of year : 9
New Starts : 20
Finishes : 18
WIPs at end of Year : 11

I didn't make any specific stitching resolutions for 2008 because of Rosalin. Just to enjoy my stitching and to take every opportunity I had to stitch. This has worked so well for me I'm carrying it over into 2009.

Congratulations if you made it to the end of this post LOL I'd like to thank everyone who has read and commented on my blog this year your comments mean a lot to me. I'd like to wish you all a great 2009

Congratulations on your goals, Karoline - you did a great job; I don't think I finished a thing the year that Ethan was born!

Rosalin is adorable!

That's a great achievement list - and Rosalin should be at the top!

I spotted you did the Drawn Thread's Birth Band - I'm seriously thinking about doing this for an old schoolfriend - how did you find it, and what threads did it call foe (ie lots of expensive ones or will DMC work?)

Happy New Year - and thanks for the ornie :)
Rosalin certainly is an untoppable achievement! The other stuff is pretty good, too. ;)

And what an accomplishment that is Karoline :), such a lovely girl. I can't imagine where you found the time to even stitch, let alone do that gorgeous finishing.

Happy new year to you and your family and onto maybe even more stitching in 2009.
