Yorkshire Sculpture Park
There's no stitching picture for you today I'm afraid, I'm working on Shepherds Bush's In My Garden Needleroll for the SAL this weekend and enjoying it hugely.
This morning we went for a leg stretch at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which isn't too far away from us. We weren't sure about the weather when we left but after a turn around the park the sun came out and it was glorious. We haven't been for over a year and I particularly wanted to see the Deer Shelter - a James Turrell Skyspace that was opened last year. It was very impressive even with the children who came in being more interested in testing the acoustics than contemplating the light!
We didn't take the camera with us this time so I share with you a picture of one of the Henry Moore's from a previous visit.
