I realised that I missed something out of my Ackworth Report - yes the Stash! Alongside the Designers market that was held on the Monday we were thoroughly spoilt with gifts throughout the retreat as you can see.
As part of the retreat we all received a copy of Carol Humphrey's book and a CD catalog of the sampler collection, a Memory book and the kit of Maria Spence 1815 by The Essamplaire which was taught during the weekend. I also took the class on Quaker pinballs and bought the kit for that.
All the participants also received lovely gifts from Ellen Chester, Lauren Sauer, Fran Colburn, Julie Buck, Carolyn Sisk and Linda Wallace. Again thank you very much ladies.
From the market on Monday I splurged on A Mon Ami Pierre and picked up four of their charts from Lonneke as well as the tin and chart for the Fancy Works Vintage Whitmans tin set. I also aquired the most recent Witney Antiques catalog 'Stitched in Adversity'. Also shown is the class kit for my next class with Lauren next october which she brought over with her and an Indigo Rose chart that Sheila passed onto me. Thanks Sheila :)
I have to say that after several months on the wagon the opportunity to shop felt rather good LOL
