Rotation Round 6
Small Project
I had a new start for this round - Spell of the Moon by Blackbird Designs, I am stitching this from the Wings of Autumn book.
I'm stitching this on 32 count Burnt Papyrus linen from Sugar Maple Fabrics using the called for overdyed cottons.
Focus WIP
Having finished my last focus WIP, I have moved onto the other project from the class with Lauren Sauer of Forget Me Nots in Stitches that was held in 2013 - Mistress L's Sampler of Bands, Emblems and Symbols.
I am stitching this on 40 count Antique White Linen using a mix of Gentle Arts Sampler Threads and Au Ver A Soie Silks.
My medium project was And Many More by Just Nan, this was a shop exclusive for the Silver Needle in Tulsa back in 2004. This is a companion piece to Twenty Flowers which was released for the Silver Needle's 20th Birthday (I have a feeling they have recently had their 40th!)
I am stitching using the kit materials, 28 count Flax line and Splendor and Thread Gatherer Silk 'n' Colors
Large Project
My Large project was Hannah Coates from Hands Across the Sea Samplers, I started this sampler in July 2020 and on this rotation round I was very pleased to get to two thirds of the way across the bottom of the sampler.
I am stitching on 40 count Light Mocha linen using the called for DMC.
