Manu

I have another finish to share with you this week as I did the final finishing and blocking of Manu last weekend.

Manu by Kate Davies Designs
Knit in Wensleydale Longwool DK in Wild Thyme

I'm thrilled it's finished, it's finally turned cold here so a big warm cardigan to wrap myself in has been wonderful.

Next up is the Honey Bee sweater for Rosie from the Eden Cottage Yarns Drift Collection that I picked up at Yarndale.  However she changed her mind about the colour she wanted it knit in. Since I bought the fuchsia yarn back in September she has decided that she no longer likes pink (obviously I was devastated LOL!) so she has now decided on the Misty Woods colour.  The fuchsia yarn will eventually become a Swale hap also from the Drift collection for myself.

Well, at least you didn't knit it before Liittle Miss decided she no longer cared for the colour! Manu is fabulous, well done and the fuchsia will be great for the Swale wrap.

Love your Manu! It's gorgeous! I think Rosie has picked a gorgeous color for her sweater. I love that sweater too! I'd like to try to knit a hap sometime too.

Your sweater looks amazing, Karoline! Really love the color for Rosie's sweater, too--a beautiful shade to be knitting with in winter :)

Congratulations on your beautiful cardigan! I sigh and say one day I will join the Big Girls and knit one too! The colour of Rosie's sweater yarn is very pretty. With her change from pink, is that a sign of growing up? ;-)

Oh wow Karoline your Manu looks great on you ! I love Kate's designs but have yet to tackle one. I have purchased and downloaded a few but (sigh) so many projects so little time. I love that wool that Rosie picked out for her cardi. She is growing up with big girls tastes. cheers - enjoy your "wooley" endeavors - Mel

Manu is just fantastic with all the great details. And the color, oh, so wonderful. You were doing a great job.
Good luck with the new color that your daughter prefers. Quite obviously the pink phase is over now, lol.

What a gorgeous sweater!

I have several sweaters in my head, but I'm afraid they don't always turn out as planned LOL!
