Dorothy Walpole Update

I hadn't realised just how long it has been since I last shared my progress on Dorothy Walpole.  But I have finally finished the flame stitch band that I had just started on my last update.

I opted to stitch this band in rice stitch rather than the charted eyelets following a suggestion on the Dorothy Walpole SAL group on Facebook.

Dorothy unwound from the scrolls, I'm approaching the halfway point!

That's a great sampler. And you got a lot stitched on it.
Lovely sampler Karoline, you're making good progress on it.
I love the colour that Rosie has chosen - very pretty. Florence is a real little cutie, she looks full of mischief.
You've made some really nice progress! The rice stitches look really good.

Oh my gosh. Those colors are just gorgeous. Once I get past my huge project of many years I hope to get back to her. I have loved her from the first time I saw the antique. I just love the ways yours looks. Great job.

How clever. I do admire this kind of skill, and the patience that goes with it.
