Summertide Shawl

I hope you all have had a lovely Christmas,  ours has been fairly laid back if somewhat soggy.  Our city and region has suffered the most serious floods that Dave and I can remember,  Fortunately our part of Leeds has not been affected but I know people who have been.

This autumn I was unable to resist joining in with the Curious Handmade Summertide Mystery Knit Along.  The KAL finished at the end of October, I finished the knitting on time but as usual I procrastinated about the blocking as usual but I got round to it last week.

I have also finished the second pair of socks in West Yorkshire Spinners Pheasant yarn, this pair are for Rosie.

I love your shawl and Rosie's socks too! I hear you on the blocking. I still have at least one project that needs blocking. I should do that! Happy 2016!

your shawl is gorgeous - glad you finished on time. So nice to see a photo of you modeling it. Sorry for the flooding in your area and people's lives affected. Glad you are safe and I hope you are looking forward to a bright new year ! with warm and "wooley thoughts" to you and your family. Mel

Oh, wonderful knitting, Karoline. I know that if I knitted I would procrastinate over the blocking as well, lol.

I'm sorry to hear about all the flooding in your area, but I'm happy you have been spared, Karoline... Your shawl is so lovely--you look beautiful wearing it, too :) And what great socks--I'm sure Rosie loves them :)
