Stitching Update
It's been ages since I posted a stitching update so I have plenty to share. There will be more New Zealand posts to come but I need more time to edit the photos.
I have finished the Christmas Stars ornament by Handwork, from the 1999 Just Cross Stitch Ornament Edition
I left off the text on this one as I think it has a more 'prim' look without it.
On Dorothy Walpole I hit a major milestone when I got past the over-one verse. I think everyone heard the cheering when I finished that!
The section that I'm stitching at the moment is charted for eyelets but following a suggestion on the Dorothy Walpole SAL group on Facebook I've decided to use rice stitch instead.
I've got to the end of the second part of Flowers of the Field by Eileen Bennett, from Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly Winter 2003
And finished the scissor fob from the Take a Lovely Sampler smalls by Forget Me Not in Stitches
And finally I have framed Bent Creeks White Cat, which has been waiting since I stitched it in 2002 (ahem!)
