It's that time of the week to link up with Ginny at the Small Things blog.

Jumper King Cole pattern 3360

knit in King Cole Galaxy

As you can see I am making good progress on the back of Christopher's jumper, I've done the armhole shaping so I'm hoping that I can get this piece of it finished in the next couple of days.

On the reading front I've finished Anthony Trollope's The Warden since I last posted.  It's been around twenty years since I last read it and I thoroughly enjoyed it again.  I especially liked Trollope's sly dig at Dickens as the successful author 'Mr Popular Sentiment'.  Now in a complete change of scene I'm reading Terry Pratchett's Monstrous Regiment although it's struck me that there are more than a few similarities between Anhk Morpork and Barchester!

Very nice on Christopher's jumper! I hadn't heard of this book -- I'm going to have to look it up now.

Ooh I am liking the sparkly wool, the jumper is coming along. Your certainly going to be busy with reading and knitting.
You read some interesting books Karoline, it's great to find new authors and titles to check out.

I missed commenting on your beautiful Mermaid Whimzi in the frame and OH SIGH - Dorothy Walpole is so beautiful. I passed mine along to a good friend who wanted to stitch her and I knew I never would. Chris' sweater is coming right along. Have you been able to wear your Deco yet? Hope Spring has come to you - Mel

OOOOOOH! Christopher's jumper progress is gorgeous......love the color with all of the little sequins.

My favorite Anthony Trollope story is "The Pallisers".....absolutely love it.

Have fun with your reading and knitting! Blessings!
