Theme-a-licious Check in - February

Here is my progress on my goals this month,  I said I would continue to work on Alpine Garden and stretch this months theme somewhat and pull 'Fruits of the Vine' out of the basket of class projects.

When I set my goals I was optimistic that I might finish 'Alpine Garden', that was before I spent the last fortnight working on just the centre section.  And it's still not finished....

I took the 'Fruits of the Vine' class with Ellen of With my Needle back in 2011, when she came over to the UK to teach at Fobbles.  So far this month I have finished the outside of the needleroll and am almost done with the front of the scissor fob.

I'm pretty sure there's someone just out of frame of that Alpine garden about to wander into view. :) It is very lovely. The needle roll is beautiful...for a class taught by a person, yes? I declare both totally in theme. ;)

Both projects look wonderful! I'm actually taking a class with Ellen next week - really looking forward to it!

Alpine Garden is one of my favourites by The Drawn Thread. All the four Gardens are. Congratulations on finishing it.
Fruits of the Vine looks gorgeous, too.
I just love your Fruits of the Vine design, the colours are so pretty. After your last post about what you've been reading I thought you'd like to know that I'm currently reading one of the books on my Kindle - it's good so far.
