This Too Shall Pass

The message on this pinkeep is one that I have been reflecting on a lot recently (potty training 'nuff said) I stitched this last year before Christopher arrived and started the finishing last October. I finally finished last night!

This Too Shall Pass Pinkeep design by Lois Mouriski Bear of Elegant Stitch
stitched using the materials from the kit.

I stitched the Scissor pocket from the set back in 2005, I have the kit to do the matching box but on my current rate of progress with the set I wouldn't hold your breath that it gets done any time soon.

Doesn't matter how long it takes you to finish something, as long as you enjoy it! Both pieces are lovely.

Good luck with potty training...

They're both lovely! At least you have two of the pieces done -- I have them and they're not even opened yet. lol! Good luck with the potty training. Boy, do I remember those days!
Congratulations on the finish. Yes, potty training does end....eventually! ;)

Very pretty finish, congratulations! All the best with the potty training (am I glad I'm well past that stage... and yes, it *shall* pass).

Good things are worth waiting for! Great set. (And we are also doing the potty training thing - my gosh, it seems like Arden will never get the hang of it!)

A beautiful pocket and a gorgeous pinkeep :)
And as far as potty training....it does pass. I can tell you from my experiences that the less stress you put on them (and yourself) about getting it done in a certain amount of time the faster it goes. Honestly...I worked and worried and fretted so much with my eldest that it was horrible. With my last I just didn't even try to train, we just talked about it and one tried training pants every day and within a week she was trained. It all works out....

since I have no siblings and no children - I have no knowledge of the dreaded potty training subject - thankfully so - I would be so clueless ! Your pieces are simply gorgeous Karoline - do you have time for any knitting these days? Cheers! Melody

Very sweet finishes Karoline! I love the needlecase.

And yes, this too shall pass. Just love 'em to pieces even when they make you nuts (the little ones).

That is very pretty, and an encouraging thought as far as potty training is concerned! My elder son took nearly five (count 'em) years....I thought I was stuck in purgatory....but the next child was super quick and almost effortless, thank heavens. Nothing I did differently, just luck and how the genes happened to turn out, I think. You'll get there!

You've done a great job on the finishing Karolyn. As for potty training, if there doesn't seem to be any progress have a break for a week and then give it another go, the less stress the better.
