Juda Hale in Miniature

As I don't have a current class project to work on at the moment I dug into my pile of old class wips and pulled out the Juda Hale in Miniature sampler by Eileen Bennett of The Sampler House.

I took this class in 2005, it was part of a sampler study day that Susan of Hanging By A Thread organised at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. We spent the morning looking at some of the English samplers in the collection with the Keeper of Textiles, Carol Humphrey and in the afternoon Eileen taught this sampler. It's stitched over one on 35 count, so I left my needle minder in to give you an idea of how small this is. It isn't going to be a quick stitch though it isn't too bad when I get a rhythm going.

So here is my progress so far, I only got the top row stitched in the class.

I'm so glad you posted a WIP of your Juda Hayle. I'm about one third through with mine and loving it, although I admit I'm changing the spacing around a bit.
