January Achievments

In January I:

  • Finished both class pieces from last year, CA Well's Peacock Sewing Case and Forget me knots in Stitches Album.
  • Got closer to the finish line on the Dragon Virtues Afghan, I completed 2 dragons and the remainder of the filler stars. I should finish it within the next couple of rotation rounds
  • Completed the stitching on Moss Creeks Shaker Needleroll.
  • Started my first piece of canvaswork to replace the needleroll in my rotation: Concord by Father B for Rainbow Gallery
  • Continued to work on Pyrimid Etui by CA Wells, I know have the 4 small bargello triangles and 2 of the sides complete, currently working on the third side.
  • Completed the finishing on the From the Heart Smalls Scissor Fob
  • Finished the Snug Hat.
I also got some of my reading mojo back this month:

  • Elsie J Oxenham - A Patch and a Pawn
  • Granta - Best of Young British Novelists
  • Alexander McCall Smith - 44 Scotland Street
  • Caroline German - Juliet of the Chalet School
  • Elsie J Oxenham - The Secrets of Vairy

January also saw me pass my 4 year blog anninversay, it waas touch and go when I started that I would keep going, I've gone from one or two posts a month to regularly bloging two/three times a week. I'm never going to be a daily blogger but I think I've reached a frequency that suits me :) I would like to thank everyone who has commented since I started, I really appreciate every one of them :)

You certainly were busy in January!

Congratulations on your 4th anniversary of blogging! I know I go through phases where I'll blog every day for almost a month, but on average, I'm aiming for 3 or so posts a week.
