October Achievements

I didn’t get round to setting any goals for October, so I think I shall just recap what I achieved this month. I finished the pre-stitching for the Album class on the 8th and 9th October and got started on the finishing in the class. I have done a little since but life is quite busy at the moment so I haven’t had the time I need to concentrate on the finishing. After the class I revamped my rotation and I spent October working on:
  • The pre-stitching for the Peacock Sewing class with CA Wells on the 18th November and I got about 3/4s of the way through.
  • Wayward Garden – I continued with the outside border and I’m now over the half way point on the border.
  • Ornies – I have completed the stitching on one ornie and started the second that I want to do.
  • I also worked on the From my Heart stitching accessories as my travel project.
  • Finishing – I got one gift finished.
I’m not going to set any goals for November, we’re going on holiday in a couple of weeks so I’m just aiming to be able to relax with my stitching as life is going to be very busy till we go.

On the reading front I haven’t been in much of a reading mood as you can tell from the list.

  • Gregory Benford – Eater
  • Katherine Bruce – Peace comes to the Chalet School
  • Brian Clarke – The Stream
  • Stephen King – The Gunslinger
  • Kaye Gardiner and Ann Shaye – Mason Dixon Knitting
  • Dave Gorman – Are you Dave Gorman?

You *haven't* been active on the reading front? Hm. I'd like to see your list of books when you do get round to reading :o) Thanks for making a note of the books you read though. They give me new ideas.
Have fun at your CA Wells class!
