Stitching Update

It hasn't been a great week for stitching, I managed to misplace my glasses last week, I think I've put them somewhere safe which we all know is fatal (DOH) and this limits the amount of time I can stitch. I've got a new pair on order so hopefully they'll arrive next week and no doubt the old pair will turn up again as well.

So here is my small amounts of progress on Wayward Garden

And Maria Spence.

We're off today to the Cambridge Folk Festival so everyone keep their figures crossed for some fine weather. They have some of my favorite artists on the bill this year, Nanci Griffith, Steve Earle, Show of Hands and The Waterboys amongst others. Should be good :)

The trip to the festival sounds very, very fun! Good luck finding your glasses, too!

I'm enjoying watching your progress
I hope the rain stays away for you at the festival.

You're making great progress on Wayward Garden - it looks like you're on the home stretch now!

Your glasses will probably turn up the very day that your new ones arrive!

Ahhh, I get to see Wayward Garden, it continues to grow in it's beauty. Now you've got me looking at Maria Spence and I'm wanting to add that to my stash, but I have so much stash at what point does one stop? Help ;~)

Your stitching is coming along great! Hope you find your glasses, they'll turn up somewhere you never thought to look (or have looked there a thousand times already!)

Enjoy the festival - keeping my fingers crosses as requested!

They are both looking lovely, and Wayward Garden looks like it is pretty well on its way to being done. Sorry to hear about the glasses, that would make it hard to stitch. As to finding them as soon as your new ones come in, yup unfortunately that probably will happen. At least it always seems to happen like that to me, when I finally give up looking for something and replace it is just when I finally find it. I hope you had nice weather for your festival.

Both of your wips are looking great. I am sure your first pair of glasses are safe, and yes, they are bound to turn up when you get your new ones. Don't you just hate that!!!
