Blackberrie Sampler Framed

I pick up Shepherds Bush's Blackberrie Sampler from the framers at the weekend and I'm really pleased with how it's come out in the end. We had originally decided to have a wider fabric border around it but at some point I had splashed a couple of drops of water on the bottom of the linen leaving a couple of marks that where invisible until it was stretched over white foam core. There's nothing like a phone call from your framer saying there is a problem to get the heart racing!

After we'd been to the framers it was onto a GTG at Kate's house with some of the other UK stitchers. There was plenty of enabling, drooling over everyone's wips and completed pieces and gabbing :) It was great to see everyone again and I had a lovely time.

This is so gorgeous! I wish I could find a good professional framer here... sigh.

It looks lovely - it was good of your framer to notice the mark and talk to you rather than just framing it up anyway.
