Interview update 2

Well I didn't get the job I interviewed for, so it looks like I'm going to be a SAHW for a a while in July at least. I'’ll be finishing (paid) work on the 30th June, though I'm hoping that I can keep involved in my current organisation on a voluntary basis depending what happens on the job front. At the moment I'm only looking for something part time and temporary for the rest of the year, as we'’re hopeful that we might be able to get more funding for 2007 I've got another few applications to get done in the next week so the situation is looking hopeful. For those that don't know I work for an international women's solidarity NGO based here in Leeds and I believe to much in the work we do to want to walk away from it.

Now onto much pleasanter topics, I decided I needed a little instant gratification last weekend while we were away so I pulled the Shepherds Fob kit by Shepherds bush from my stash and I finished the stitching over the weekend. I managed to get the beads and charm on yesterday so here are the pictures. I might get to the finishing this weekend but a lot depends on how much time the aforementioned applications take. Have a good weekend everyone.

I have confidence that everything will work out for you. Great job on the fob, in the meantime. Good to take your mind off of things and get the satisfaction of a quick finish. :)
