The Bride of Science

Finished 'The Bride of Science' by Benjamin Wooley last night, a biography of Ada Lovelace the daughter of Lord Byron. Interesting for me because the first computer language I learnt was ADA, named because of the work Ada did with Charles Babbage on his Difference & Analytical Engines. From this book it sounds like she had a horror of a women for a mother in Annabella Millbanke, self-deluding & self-righteous she didn't come over at all well.
