Theme-a-licious Update - Jumanji June

I'm running very late with my update for Jumanji June, 'life' has been rather busy recently in the run up to the end of term next week.

I was very pleased to reach a milestone on 'Above the Clouds' - I have finished the cross-stitching!

Teresa Wentzler - Above the Clouds
stitched using the recommended DMC on hand-dyed Lugana

Just the miles of backstitching to go now, I'm expecting that I will get back to this during 'Nail it November'

I have also managed to evict the frogs that have been plaguing me on Glastonbury Garden and started on the actual design.

Glastonbury Garden - Forget Me Not in Stitches
stitched using the kit materials

The theme for this month is 'Jolly July' Heather says  'It's a jolly holiday with your WIPs...you can concentrate on Christmas designs, ornaments, or even pick a different holiday to render in stitchy goodness.'

My plan is to work  on Christmas ornaments alongside 'Glastonbury Garden', starting with finishing 'Happy Winter' and then moving onto this years ornaments for the children if I have time.

Oh wow, that Theresa Wentzler piece is amazing!! I can't wait to see it all finished. I've always loved that piece in particular, but just never got around to stitching it. I figured DH would love it. Oh well. Love your Glastonbury Garden too -- glad the frogs have left on that one!
Glad to hear you kicked the frogs elsewhere! You've had your share.

CONGRATULATIONS on finishing the stitching for Above the Clouds!! How exciting! Now you get to watch it come alive as you backstitch. =)
Back stitch isn't much fun Karoline, I don't envy you. It's strange to hear you mention end of term at this stage. Our schools break up at the end of June as you most likely know. I hope the weather improves for the kids being at home, it makes everything so much easier for mums.

Karoline a huge congrats on getting all the xs done on ATC!!! Huge milestone. Yes there are miles of BS on TW's pieces but at leas it's pretty obvious where it goes! I have to re-stitch this one for myself sometime.

Your dragon looks awesome. I hope you like the backstitches better than I do. I'm just stuck with one of my WIPocalypse pieces because of the backstitches ... and now I have to frog some of them. It can only get better ... lol.
