Summer Arbor

My friend Beverly and I started our new SAL last weekend on Drawn Threads Summer Arbor. We SAL'ed on Winter and Spring back in 2004 and we've decided that it's time we finished the set.
I really enjoyed the stitches used in this section most of them were new to me and were really fun to do. The scan doesn't do justice to the colours in this one

Very pretty! I love your flower pics too. I hope things work out with the job. That must be very frustrating.

I'm finally catching up on blogs after over a month away ... just wanted to say I adore your garden piccies, but especially the poppies - they're beautiful. Also your SB scissor fob stitching looks great :) Hope the job situation works out for you - it's hard to find a job that you feel passionate about, so I understand why you don't want to give up on it :) I'm going to enjoy watching your progress on the DT Summer Arbor - I just bought the autumn one, which I've been drooling over for a while, and was unsure whether to buy the summer one or not, as it was hard to see the design online ... now I can see it more clearly as you're stitching it up :D It's been nice catching up with your blog after so long :D

I've seen this whole series finished, framed, and hung all together - totally gorgeous! All four seasons are definitely on my wish list. :D
