An ornie finish

It's been a remarkably unproductive week, there's even been nights when I've not wanted to stitch!!! But I did manage to get this ornie finished. It's the Mini Bellpull by the Drawn Thread from JCS 1999. It's just missing the charm which I'll add when I get to the finishing.
However because I haven't been stitching I have been reading and I got two books finished this week that I really enjoyed. The first was Jane and Mary Findlaters Crossriggs , one of the Virago Modern Classic series it's vaguely based on Emma. Set in a small village outside Edinburgh at the turn of the 20th century and tells the story of Alex Hope and her struggles to keep her families heads above the poverty line. The other book was Jane Green's Babyville, highly entertaining chick lit that provided a much needed evenings escapism.Posted by Picasa

The ornament is adorable! I know the feeling...do I read, or do I stitch? You could do both with audio books! =)

Oh Karoline! I just adore your mini bellpull!!!! DH just saw it and wants me to stitch it for our tree this year too - thanks for the enabling :-) You did a beautiful job on it too.

Your bellpull looks lovely stitched up :) I've had this on my list of must stitch Christmas projects for quite some time now so I might just have to squeeze it in somewhere, thanks for sharing :)

Ooh, I LOVE that ornie - what a great design. I'm really gonna have to find that 1999 issue - it's the only one I'm missing ... and now I have more reason - that ornie's great! :D Oh well, back to Ebay again ;P
